The clog's cap is easy to remove. This can be done with a damp cloth or, if necessary, an alcohol-based disinfectant.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size Florensa medical clogs should I get?

Florensa clogs run small. Most people will therefore buy a size larger than their usual shoe size. We provide fitting advice for each style on our website.

The right size clogs will stay on your feet easily without you having to squeeze your toes to keep them on. The best way to test this is by walking around indoors.

There's no set rule for how much room you should have at the back of the footbed. This can range from minimal to 1 cm. It's important that the clog fits comfortably and securely on your feet and doesn't slide around or stub your toes while walking. It's also important not to rest your heel on the edge of the footbed.

If you have a wide foot or a high instep, be sure to buy a size larger than your usual shoe size. If you have a narrow foot or a low instep, your usual shoe size might also fit. The smaller the clog, the slimmer the fit.

When determining the correct clog size, it's important to stand on the clogs. When you stand, your foot stretches and thus becomes longer.

If you have any doubts, please contact our customer service.

Why do medical clogs have an open heel?

Many nurses come to work in normal shoes. At work and/or in the department, they put on their clogs or sneakers. This is mandatory in certain workplaces due to hygiene requirements. Florensa clogs are nice and quick to put on and take off in that case.

How do Florensa clogs help me prevent fatigue?

Florensa clogs have an anatomically shaped footbed. This supports the feet and ensures a correct and natural posture for feet, legs, and back. This prevents fatigue after a long day of walking and/or standing.

The PU sole of a Florensa clog also absorbs shocks and cushions the impact of each step. This cushioning prevents joint strain.

Florensa clogs are MDR certified as a medical device.

What is the best way to store my medical clogs?

Our advice is to let the clogs breathe out after a day of wearing. Absorbed foot moisture can then ventilate again. It is not recommended to store Florensa clogs in a locker for a long time or regularly. This causes mold to form.

Why are clogs often used in healthcare?

Florensa medical clogs are hygienic to use. The top of the clog is easily removable with a slightly damp cloth and is completely seam-free, making it difficult for bacteria to accumulate.

If you only wear your clogs at work, they are easy to put on and take off.

The built-in footbed supports your feet and ensures correct posture, which can reduce or prevent fatigue.

The flexible sole is made of polyurethane and has a robust, non-slip tread for both dry and wet surfaces. Unlike clogs with wooden soles, Florensa clogs are also quiet, promoting a good night's sleep in the ward.

What is the difference between printed patent leather and leather with PU coating?

All Florensa medical clogs are made of leather. This leather is located on the inside of the clog's upper and provides natural wearing properties such as moisture absorption and flexibility.

The exterior of the leather is covered with a thin top layer. We distinguish between a matte, solid PU top layer and a printed lacquer layer. Both types are easily cleaned.

Be careful with (bed) pedals and kick doors. Frequent bumping and scraping against sharp objects can damage your clogs. This damage is unfortunately permanent and cannot be polished away like with regular shoes.

Once the lacquer layer is damaged, it will gradually wear away over time. Damage to plain clogs with matte PU is limited and will not worsen in that regard.

Can I clean my clogs with alcohol?

Florensa clogs are easy to clean. They have no seams, so dirt and grime can be easily removed with a slightly damp cloth. We recommend using water, but an alcohol-based disinfectant is also an option. Dry the clog immediately after cleaning and don't allow the disinfectant to dry undiluted on the clog to prevent bleached stains.

Nice prints! Will there be new prints?

Absolutely! Depending on the season, the Florensa collection will regularly be updated with fresh, fun, new colors and prints. Some styles are timeless; others will be included in the collection temporarily. This way, you can easily style and personalize your white outfit!

If you have an idea or wish for a fun, new print, please don't hesitate to contact us. Who knows, your print might be included in our new collection!
