What are safety boots?
Safety boots are safety shoes in a boot model; the shaft extends above the ankle and, depending on the model, reaches up to the knee. They combine all the features of certified safety footwear with the additional protection a boot offers against moisture, mud, and hazardous substances.
Compared to low-cut and high-cut safety shoes, safety boots offer three additional advantages. Firstly, protection of the lower leg against splashes, chemicals, and rough materials. Secondly, complete waterproofing because the boot as a whole is waterproof, not just the upper as with S2 and S3 shoes. Thirdly, protection against deep puddles and muddy surfaces where a normal safety shoe would let in water.
When are safety boots the right choice?
Safety boots are mandatory or strongly recommended in work environments where there is regular contact with water, mud, or chemicals, and ordinary safety shoes offer insufficient protection. This is the case in construction and earthmoving for work in or near water, in the agricultural sector for work in wet fields, stables, and greenhouses, in fish processing and the food industry where the floor is continuously wet, in sewage and water management where contact with contaminated water poses a risk, and in chemical factories where contact with hazardous liquids is possible.
For dry work environments or situations where ankle mobility is important, low-cut or high-cut safety shoes are a better choice.

S3 certified safety boots

Size advice for safety boots
Neskrid safety boots are available in multiple width sizes. Choose your normal shoe size as a starting point and select the width size that matches the width of your foot.
