In work environments where water, mud, and rough conditions are daily challenges, ordinary work shoes fall short. Work boots offer protection that goes beyond a shoe, from the foot to the lower leg. Whether you work in construction, agriculture, landscaping, or field service, work boots ensure you stay dry, safe, and comfortable, even in the most demanding conditions.
Neskrid has been developing professional footwear since 1924 and offers work boots that meet the EN ISO 20347 standard for occupational footwear. For men and women, in multiple width sizes. The complete collection is exclusively available at Shaped4.
What are work boots?
Work boots are work shoes in a boot model where the shaft extends above the ankle and, depending on the model, reaches up to the knee. They combine all the features of certified occupational footwear with the extra protection that a boot offers against moisture, mud, and rough materials.
Compared to low-cut and high-cut work shoes, work boots offer three additional advantages. First, protection of the lower leg against splashes, mud, and rough materials. Second, complete waterproofing because the boot as a whole is waterproof. Third, protection when working in deep puddles and muddy surfaces where an ordinary work shoe would let in water.
Work boots do not have a mandatory safety toe and fall under the EN ISO 20347 standard for occupational footwear. Do you need a safety toe in addition to the boot construction? Then check out our [safety boots].
When are work boots the right choice?
Work boots are the right choice for work environments where there is regular contact with water, mud, or wet surfaces where an ordinary work shoe offers insufficient protection. This is the case in construction and earthmoving when working in or near water, in the agricultural sector when working in wet fields, stables, and greenhouses, in landscaping and gardening companies where wet surfaces are commonplace, and in field services and municipal services where changing weather conditions are the norm.
For dry work environments or situations where ankle mobility is important, low-cut or high-cut work shoes are a better choice. Check out [low-cut work shoes] and [high-cut work shoes] for an overview of lighter alternatives.
Work boots for men and women
Neskrid work boots are available for both men and women, in multiple width sizes so that the boot always fits well, even with a wide foot. Wide work boots are a permanent part of the assortment.

Work boots with insoles
Extra foot support is also possible in work boots. The [4Allbrands insoles] are certified for use in work shoes and occupational footwear without loss of standards and are available in three arch variants for flat feet, a normal arch, and high arches. Because 4Allbrands was developed by Neskrid, these insoles are specifically suitable for use in Neskrid work boots.

Work boot size guide
Neskrid work boots are available in multiple width sizes. Choose your normal shoe size as a starting point and select the width size that matches the width of your foot. Do you wear thick socks with your boots? Then take that into account when choosing your size. If in doubt, we recommend half a size larger for optimal wearing comfort.
