Garden clogs with cork footbed

The footbed largely determines how garden clogs feel, and cork is the firmer of the two options. While a soft footbed primarily provides cushioning, cork actively supports your foot: it acts like an orthotic insole that keeps the arch in place and distributes pressure evenly across the entire foot. You'll especially notice this on long days when you're standing and walking in the garden for hours on end.

Our garden clogs with cork footbeds are made from 100% polyurethane and produced in our own factory in Portugal. The footbed in the garden clog is removable, so you can dry it separately or replace it.

Why a cork footbed in your garden clog?

Cork has several properties that make it particularly suitable for intensive use in the garden:

• It firmly supports the arch of the foot, which counteracts fatigue during long periods of standing and walking.
• It conforms to the shape of your foot with wear, giving you a personalized fit over time.
• It is naturally moisture-regulating, keeping your foot pleasantly dry in the garden clog.
• It is firm and resilient at the same time, offering a good balance between support and comfort.

Who is a cork footbed the best choice for?

Garden clogs with a cork footbed are especially suitable if you are on your feet a lot and want to give your foot active support. Consider:

• Long days in the garden or vegetable patch, where you are standing and walking for hours at a time.
• People who naturally have sensitive arches and need support.
• Those who prefer a firm, supportive walking sensation over a soft, cushioning sole.

If you are looking for a softer, directly cushioning sole, then garden clogs with a foam footbed might be a better choice. Both footbeds are interchangeable, so you can switch them depending on the task.

Removable and easy to maintain

Because the footbed is removable, you can easily keep your garden clogs clean. After a wet or muddy workday, you can remove the cork footbed from the clog and let it dry separately, while rinsing the clog itself with water. This way, both the garden clog and the footbed stay in good condition longer. Should a footbed wear out after years of intensive use, you can easily order a new one.
