Sanita clogs

Looking for Sanita clogs?

Sanita clogs have been the standard in Dutch healthcare for years. Nurses, doctors, dentists, and healthcare professionals across the country have worn this trusted footwear, known for its fit, comfort, and durability.
Studio Sanita was responsible for the sale of Sanita clogs in the Netherlands for over 20 years. In collaboration with that same Studio Sanita team, Florensa clogs were developed, with the same expertise, craftsmanship, and fit that healthcare professionals know and trust. Florensa is therefore the successor to the Sanita Flex and the replacement for Sanita clogs that healthcare professionals have been looking for for years.

Florensa: developed by the people behind Sanita

Florensa clogs were created in close cooperation with the Studio Sanita team in Rijen (North Brabant). The knowledge gained over decades regarding what a good medical clog should be—with the right support, the correct fit, and a hygienic finish—has been fully integrated into the development of Florensa.

The result is a clog that feels like a familiar friend, but with a fresh and modern look. Produced in Shaped4's own factory in Portugal, by more than 50 specialists who work daily on footwear for the healthcare sector.

The same features, a new name

Those accustomed to Sanita medical clogs or other Sanita clogs will feel right at home with Florensa. The anatomical fit supports the foot in the same way, the flexible PU sole offers the same shock absorption, and the PU-coated leather is just as easy to clean. Looking for a San Flex 314 alternative? The Florensa Flex is the direct alternative with the same fit, now MDR-certified. What has also been added: a much wider selection of colors and prints.

Florensa vs Sanita: what are the differences?

When comparing Florensa vs Sanita, two things stand out. First, the certification: Florensa clogs are officially MDR-certified as a Medical Device, which is not the case for all Sanita clogs. Second, availability: Sanita medical clogs are currently very limited in the Netherlands. Anyone looking to buy Sanita clogs and searching for a readily available alternative will find it at Florensa. The right alternative for Sanita clogs.

MDR-certified for healthcare

All Florensa clogs are officially MDR-certified as a Medical Device (EU 2017/745) and meet the EN ISO 20347:2022 standard for occupational footwear. They are anti-static and equipped with a certified non-slip sole, safe on both dry and wet floors. Available in sizes 36 through 48.

Size advice

Just like with Sanita clogs, Florensa clogs run one size smaller than your normal shoe size. When in doubt, order one size larger and always check the specific size advice on the product page.
