Garden clogs with closed heel

With a closed heel, your foot is fully enclosed. This provides grip and stability that you don't have with a slip-on model, and which you'll notice as soon as you do more than just a stroll through the garden. On uneven terrain, on a ladder, or while hauling, the clogs stay in place, ensuring you have a firm footing with every movement.

Our garden clogs with a closed heel are made from 100% polyurethane and produced in our own factory in Portugal. Waterproof, strong, and light enough to wear for an entire workday.

Why choose a closed heel?

A closed heel adds several benefits that come in handy for more intensive use:

• The foot is fully enclosed, keeping the clog firmly in place while walking
• More protection around the heel and ankle, comfortable on uneven terrain and among bushes
• Better stability for heavier work such as digging, hauling, or odd jobs around the yard
• Extra grip on the ladder, as your heel cannot slip out of the clog

Sturdiness without compromising on comfort

A closed model provides grip, but remains comfortable all day. The anatomical footbed, developed by an orthopedic specialist, supports the foot and distributes the load during long periods of standing and walking. The non-slip sole with ladder grip provides traction on wet grass, mud, and wet tiles, and the construction is fully waterproof. The footbed is removable, so you can let it dry separately after a wet workday.

When is an open heel sufficient?

If you mainly seek convenience and walk in and out of the garden all day, the sturdiness of a closed heel is not always necessary. For short tasks and quick transitions between indoors and outdoors, a slip-on model is more convenient because you can put it on and take it off without bending down. In that case, check out the garden clogs with an open heel.
